What You Need to Know

Well, it’s marvellous to know that we finally will be able to welcome you back to The Imperial from 17 May! We can’t wait to say hello to returning guests and to meet some new ones!
Blackpool is preparing for a fabulous summer of exciting days out, fun in the sun, glittering shows and free family events. All our attractions and venues are excited to be opening their doors. Click here for some inspiration for time well spent and details of reopening dates, measures etc.
We know that many of you have of questions about your stay at The Imperial. We want to reassure you so that you feel totally comfortable and excited about your visit!
What We’re Doing to Look After You
Firstly, it’s really important to note that our booking policy is flexible on all bookings. There’s no problem at all if you decide to change the date of your break, as you let us know before 14:00 on the day of arrival.
You will notice the increase in cleaning around the hotel while you are here and many of the team will be wearing additional PPE.
When we first re-open we will not be automatically cleaning your room each day, but if you would prefer to have your room serviced, the team will gladly do this for you whilst you’re out. However, every guest will have additional towels, tea and coffee and toiletries in their rooms. If you need more, you are welcome to collect what you need from Reception.
We’ve got lots of signage up in the hotel to remind you where to go, to remain socially distanced etc., but please ask our team for any clarifications.
Our restaurant and bar areas will be open for table service meals and drinks. There are no restrictions other than a maximum table size of 6 (or 2 households). We’re pleased to announce that we will have an outdoor seating area - perfect for selfies and a spot of sun-worshipping! We think this area will be popular for enjoying a bite to eat or a cocktail or two at sunset.
What We’re Asking You to Do (or Not Do!)
Track and Trace is still a legal requirement for your visit and we now must ask every visitor to register their details with us.
Don’t worry, you will not require a vaccine confirmation or COVID test to enable you to visit, but of course if you have any symptoms you should contact us straight away and not travel. We’ll be able to work with you to rearrange your stay.
We do ask all our guests to wear masks whilst in public areas (unless you are exempt) and to remain vigilant with social distancing. You will not need to wear a mask whilst you are seated and eating or drinking in any of our bars or restaurants.
WHAT IF YOU HAD A BOOKING?
Thanks so much everyone for re-booking your stay with us. We really appreciate your support and hope that you will continue to move your date forward to one which suits you; we’d love to see you when you’re ready!
For prepaid, non-refundable bookings that were due during closure or that the hotel has agreed to postpone, the balance of your deposit can be used as a credit towards a booking within the next 365 days. Please note, if the value of credit carried forward does not cover the cost of the new booking the difference will need to be paid.

When you make your booking please note in the comments that you have a credit note for the amount paid, name on booking, original arrival date and last four digits of the card used to make the booking. Your credit will then be transferred and any outstanding balance taken. Please note payment is not automatically taken by the website so your payment will not be duplicated.
We do accept that this doesn’t suit everyone, so if your original booking was for arrival during closure (up until 3 July) and you really must cancel your stay with us completely, click on this link and complete the form. That’s all you need to do, and we’ll process your refund within 90 days.
